National Water Dance is a collective of dancers and educators confronting critical water issues facing the U.S. From New York to Hawaii and Alaska to Puerto Rico, artists will engage in site-specific dance performances simultaneously across the country. The Mercyhurst Dance Department heads up the event in Erie, working along with the Chemistry, Music, English, and Art departments, as well as other local dance organizations. The National Water Dance brings the community together and reaches out for action to save and honor our precious water.
Location: Dobbins Landing, the Erie Maritime Museum, and the H.O. Hirt Auditorium (subject to change) Free and open to the public.
