ADVANCE WAITLIST & DAY-OF-SHOW STANDBY LINE
The Mercyhurst Institute for Arts & Culture strives to make every performance accessible to as many patrons as possible. If a performance is sold out, we offer two options for those still hoping to attend: an Advance Waitlist and a Day-of-Show Standby Line. Please review the policies below to understand how each option works.
ADVANCE WAITLIST
If a performance is sold out, you may request to be added to the Advance Waitlist.
How to Join: Call the box office at 814-824-3000 during regular hours (Tuesday through Thursday, noon to 5 p.m.) with your name, phone number, and number of tickets desired.
How It Works: If tickets are returned or additional seats are released, we will contact patrons on the waitlist in the order requests were received.
Important Notes:
Being on the waitlist does not guarantee ticket availability.
If contacted, you will have a two-hour window to complete your purchase before we move to the next person on the list.
On the day of the performance, we will begin contacting patrons as tickets become available. Because timing is critical, you must answer your phone when we call; otherwise, we will immediately move to the next name on the list.
Payment by credit card is required to complete your purchase.
If you do not respond within the two-hour window, your name will be moved to the end of the waitlist.
DAY-OF-SHOW STANDBY LINE
If you didn’t get on the advance waitlist or missed the window, we also offer a Standby Line at the venue on the day of the performance.
When to Arrive: Standby begins 90 minutes prior to showtime at the performance venue.
How It Works: Any unclaimed or last-minute returned tickets will be released to the standby line 5–15 minutes before curtain.
Important Notes:
Standby seats are limited and not guaranteed.
Payment is required immediately if a ticket becomes available.
Seating may be scattered depending on availability.
